Just thought i'd share what happened to me today 馃檪 I was about to get into my vw and drive out of the garage when a couple in a car stopped and waved at me - i waved back and they got out of the car and said they wanted to give me a something ! They sell vw t-shirts and they have seen my car around the neighbourhood and they said they wanted to give me a xmas present for having such a cool car !!!
How cool is that !!! I was so so so happy - they really made my day ! The t-shirt is pretty cool too - it has a 1950 vw bug on it and it says "Bugs, i love 'em, and though it's a pity that they're no longer sold, there are plenty of old ones still around providing all of us with plenty of fun."

I know how you feel.
I work in a high care home for old folk & when a son of one of the residents I look after
comes in last Monday looking for me & says "I went to a garage sale on Sunday & I thought of you & bought this for you"
It was a large model of a pink 60's beetle I couldn't help
smiling ....

I have a younger sister who has always gone out of her way to buy me vw pressies. I'm now in my late 40's and she's in her late 30's but wherever she has been she's always brought me something VW. She lived in Germany and I still have wrapping paper left (VW), keyrings, watches,etc. When she came back after living in the US I have telephones, more keyrings, postcards,books,books and more books, stickers, and one more thing she always said that when she became rich she would buy me a convertible (she was a fashion model) now have a guess where my cab came from? You guessed it she brought it over from LA!
