PICS of DNVK XMAS KRUISE to Fingal Bay 19/12/04

Hey guys
here are some pics from the awesome day Der Neuburg Volks Klub had yesterday on their third cruise.

Weather was prefect, water was great and the roads nice and clear. we met at newcastle foreshore at 10am and 16 members headed off to fingal bay via nelson and shoal bay.

Fresh seafood and prawns were consumed for lunch followed by a much needed swim at the beach.

Despite 2 minor breakdowns the day went off without a hitch and as always everyone was asking for more cruises more often.

Next one will be in mid january to the Heddon Greta Drive in so if u missed this one be sure to get urself to the next one.

Id like to take this oppurtunity to wish all our club members a Merry Xmas and a safe and Happy New Year. id also like to thank everyone for their contribution to the club this year no matter how small.

DNVK was started by myself and a few friends this time last year and in the past 12 months we have had three major cruises which have all been great and alot of fun. I have met alot of new and cool people through the club and made some good friends. The number of members just keeps on growing and shows that our young and easy going attitude is really appealing to many people. We even have members now from as far away as Sydney and Taree, and even way up north (how is it up there Frenzix?)

I have had alot of fun this year organising our activities and from everyone's feedback i know i hav to get myself motivated and get something more regular happening. i look forward to another great year in 2005 for Der Neuburg Volks Klub and hope to see u all soon. (Dont forget the Drive In night on friday 14th january next year.)

the Drive In is at Heddon Greta 30 mins from newcastle, u guys can crash at mine if u wanna come up for it...

u shoulda seen all the punch buggies kids were giving to each other wen they went past, i saw one van drive past with all these kids and i could just hear:

"punch buggy black!"
"OUCH!"
"punch buggy pink!"
"OUCH!!"
"punch buggy green..." etc etc

this looks to be a good fun club well done, someone should start a sydney chapter not me though i work to many hours

already done, we've got our sydney troops...

sign me up with the sydney boyz, that is if you dont mind a few rats in the club

Obviously he's a type three fan! I like them. Pity more PPL don't take on resto's of them as much as the Beetle's and Kombi's. I wonder how many are hiding in garage's and under houses? I came accros one languishing in a shed once and tryed to by it, the owner's grandson had an unrealistic idea of it's worth and refused to sell it to me for $400, said it was a rare car and worth 3 times that. I later found out it went to the scrap metal mob,:cussing
