Nice one !!
That museum changes its collection around pretty regular I think.... I've been there twice over the last few years and never saw that stigma.
Very Ricey. But also looks tough in a bad 80's fashion sort of way.
barls ·
yes im sorry that this is the only pic i have
MickH ·
to have all that bolt on plastic stuff it must be a factory turbo one......they went like a shower of sh-t:bounce
ruckus ·
Yeah I don't think it counts if it is actually as tough as it looks does it? Otherwise you'd be calling Audi Quattros and 205t16s ricers too?
barls ·
yeah its probably not a ricer but is still likely to have started the ugly body kit craze
pete wood ·
yeah maybe, but where are all the stickers and monsta bling bling wheels?
:P

Personally, I'd prefer the green car on it's left... Although I still hate the French (and their cars)... :puke
Bizarre ·
lets go back another decade to the early 70's
what about the Beemer 3.0 CSL.... the original Batmobile! (in white with blue and red stripes)
0-100 k's in 7 secs in 1972!
Man... the flairs on that thing!!

Yeah that's an r5 turbo. Don't think any of the others could dream of outhandling that little monster. May look ugly but it's well desereved in the function over form debate :thumb

barls ·
have a look at www.laughatrice.com and you will get and idea. also there is a thread on what a ricer is if you do a search

hehe some of the 70/80's is wrong in so many ways.
not all jap cars are rice as some may assume 🙂 Rice is all show no go.
now this is a sweet car... Datsun 240z

nice Z shot. Brilliant high speed cruiser those Z's - mate of mine had a 260Z 2+2 through uni, just oozed class.
The R5's were a brilliant tarmac rally car, esp. on the real tight and twisty stuff. Never quite had the top end to match it with the big boys on the other rallys though (only a 1.5 from mem ?) Was a serious, dinkum, no bullshit race car though.
