Well the splitty's hitting another milestone tomorrow, going around again!, what I wonder is, how many times has it gone around?
When I got it ten years ago it had 17500 on it , and as it spent two years off the road for the resto , Its been worked fairly hard by me.
My guess is its going over for the third time ...

You never know do you... I've had 4 vw's and only ever took one round the clock - based on the door hinge pins that definetely wasnt the first time.
Enjoy the moment - and remember to look. I hate noticing that its close and the forgetting to keep an eye on it and missing the moment 馃檪

my gf's Vento is about to hit 200000. It def has not been around the clock, and I will be surprised if it gets there. Not quite the enthusiasts car, but I love it. Milestones are fun, though. Make sure your camera is with you!!!

mine's getting close.. almost 97,000 miles now.. and andy (volksfolks) reckons it hasn't gone round yet.. so that will be a momentus occasion for out little Gwendoline 馃檪
although i feel kinda bad putting mileage on something that has such low mileage.. but i guess thats what it was built for..

We had the Helbus travel over, but that will never happen again as it now has a trip meter speedo. 999999 is a long way away.

Had my 71s bug click over 3 years ago, half way there again. Was driving on a country road when it was about to click over, pulled over very fast as not to miss the camera chance, A nice old couple driving behind pulled over to see of I needed help, When I told them why I pulled over so quickly they had a giggle and snapped a few photos as well.
