then she gets slammed on Monday and front narrowed 2inches

Are your polished ???? we picked up our set of polished EMPI 5's just before christmas after waiting several months and was VERY dissapointed ...... Looked like the polisher let their 5 year old son polish this set !!!!
So after a long wait, we got our money back and now are still no closer to having nice shiny wheels .......

They are chromed actually.

I can back Jeremy on this one.. These guys, apart from cip1.com in the US, is the only business to sell CHROMED 5's off the shelf..
Not polished. Polished is maintanence... Autosol and all that..
Chromed is Windex. Wipe on, wipe off. Done.
The difference in the finish is huge too.. Tracey I would be getting these.

They are indeed polished Empi 5's, good quality.
You didn't get them from us mscabrio!!!
What make did you get, if they were American eagle I have heard bad reports about them.
What about a set of these off the shelf from your nearest supplier KdF Werks

Ours looked nothing like anything on this post. They looked more like a dull, dirty, cheap keetle !!!!!!!!!
No Classic VW (pacific) I didn't get them from you, I got them from a place closer to home. In hindsight, it might have been quicker if I flew to America and picked them up myself !!!!! I didn't think that they were any other brand than EMPI ??????? Please excuse my ignorance !

Sorry if I totally confused you
and someone will correct me if I am wrong.
They are reproduction of the Empi 5 spoke, there are a few brands producing repros, such as American Eagle, Flat 4 etc
Ours are supplied by Midland Wheels in the UK, together with other styles such as BRM's, Empi's, centrelines and prolines.
I have heard that the American Eagle leave a bit to be desired.

yer polished is not as good as chromed but i want oldschool not ricer
only trouble i had is that the wheel lugs are to long and will have to get them machine quarter inche!!!!!

heard on a pommie site that they are to long and they fark up you brake drum spring

got the whole thing done for $800
thats the adjusters and narrowed and the rear done ,new wheel bearings and ready to go
worth every cent
not may places in adelaide that can do this .
went to a VW specialist called DeBiasi Auto
which you might know is the guy in S.A that ran i think 11.88 quarter in his green bug
