hi all here is a pic of my 67 rat bus
the rear wheels are just a quick fix until i get my wide 5's offset changed .next on the list is a westy 3 bow rack and chrome the rear bumper.

nah i put it on 😉 im going to get around to fixing up the front one to match soon as well.
and yes i know mines a 79 so it wont go straight on but i got a few tricks and ideas left yet 😉

Bob, saw it at stokers in december, took some sweet pics, i had my split singlecab, got some great pics of them next to eachother...sweet ride, love it...

put some smaller tyres on the front 14"165 65s and dropped her some more time for spindles now i think
the ride is not to bad but the trip to nimbin should test her out

well this old girl has been off the road for over a year now and as we are about to move into our new house up at mount nebo thought i better get off my ass and get it back on the road.
i have made a 4.5" narrowed beam for it and now runs dropped spindles also.
anyway just gave it a quick paint job to protect it from the elements up on the mountain, just need to finish the roof and its done.
will also be running chrome brm's now.
not realy a rat anymore but its still far from straight.

Niiiiiiiiiiiice. Both before and after were great.
I don't suppose you could do a writeup on the steps you used to do the respray? Nothing massive. I just want to know stuff like how much stripping back you did, preparation / priming and how you did the two tone so neatly!
I'm getting a compressor and spraygun in the very near future and was planning on doing a two tone respray. It'd be of the 'cheerful' variety mind you because I doubt my van will ever be a looker without having nearly everything replaced.

well the roof is done now and most of it is back together, just waiting for my new master cylinder to arrive from george and i'm back on the road.
interior can come later.
