About time they did this for Australians. although working things out in US dollars isn't that hard.

Can you link it to an aussie bank account yet?

You have always been able to link Paypal to an Aussie account. You need a credit card to be able to send money via paypal.

Basically you register with Paypal via their website www.paypal.com. As part of registration you enter your credit card details. When you want to pay somebody you just need their email address, they don't even need a Paypal account. The money is then charged to your credit card. Your credit card company will then charge you a conversion fee if your are paying in foreign currency.

I'm not sure how you get money out of a Paypal account as I've only ever used it to pay for Ebay purchases.
