ok DNVk will be meeting at broadmeadow Maccas around 830 or so for breakfast. we will wait for the central coast crew to arrive, watever that time may be. hopefully by 1030 guys.
everyone else who is coming, please let us know wen u may arrive so we can organise the convoy into the show. ive heard thru the grapevine today theres going to be a tonne of Dubs.

if we all could meet at the maccas at broadmedow,make it around 8:15am or so for us local dubbers and just wait for the central coast cruisers to meet us there when they turn up, so then all of us can roll up together, then they are not going to turn atleast 20 cars away. are the central coast guys coming up the freeway or up through the back of swansea?

bluetopless2 we are going to meet a Broadmedow Mcdonalds at approx 8:15am for a healthy non greasy breakfast. (this can be found on VWFOOL's post, the post with the map, 2 posts up).
we are going to wait for the central coast crew to turn up then we are all going to go up the road together, it only about 2 mins drive to the event from maccas:thumb
last year we watched the Rover club turn up, there was about 30 of them it did look pretty cool, so it will look even better with 40 of us dubbers coming in😉

I have been speaking with Peter Korsch from VW Performance at West Gosford and he told me about the Euro Day at Newcastle. He has about 30 or so names on a list which will be meeting for a casual breakfast on the same day at Terrigal and then heading north to the show.
I went to the NRMA Motorfest in Sydney on Australia Day and managed to meet a few other people from various VW Clubs who also live on the Central Coast. They are now aware of this event as well.
So there should be a good contingent of German Aircooled (and water cooled) machinery there this time.

Sorry been away from puter a couple of days.
So far I reckon we will have 20-30 cars coming up from the Central Coast. The ring around that we've taken has got people really interested, plus there'll be a few coming up from Sydney.
We will be taking the F3 up, joining the F3 at Ourimbah, and taking the Wallsend exit at the Newcastle Link Rd. For those coming up from Sydeny you can either meet DNVK at Broadmeadows, or stop at the F3 Macca's and join us as we go past. Else you can join us for brekky at The Haven, Terrigal.

great news fellow dubbers, just got of the phone to one of the organisers of the euro car day, advised him of the sittuation that there will be possibly over 100 VWs invading the show,(there was a brief silence) then he said,"that will be awsome!". I then told him that we wont be there for the 9 oclock start as we have guys coming up from the coast, he said stuff the start, that would look great with all the vws turning up together and sometime after 10, 10:30 would be quiet ok, and he has reserved an area for us somewhere amoungst it all, (not down the back hopefully) so we are all set for a big one!😉

will be staying in terrigal... but not at the crowne plaza... they were booked out for the sunday night and so i didn't feel like changing hotels between sat night and sunday... so gonna stay at one on Terrigal road... then we can cruise up on sunday with everyone. :thumb

I am sure that your bug is NOT crappy looking ..... all bugs have something beautiful about them ..... and besides in some parts it is the height of fashion to drive a crappy looking car, and it is us the ones that drive the shiny ones that are out of place.

reason for asking was i saw you on the way home from the show i was the guy beeping as i passed youon the F3 with the new black Pajero.
it looked hot on the road you could spot it from a mile away.
