help geeks. simple log file processing

Does anyone know of some FREE scripts to analyse my log files? Dont want anything fancy, just want to count up the different page views.

As a comsci student I should be able to write something simple in perl, but.... what can I say, I am too lazy. And I never liked regex.

We use awstats on AVDS. Works a treat. Also "analog" is comprehensive if nothing else. I use that on my domains.
