Today Jaryd got his licence. WOOHOO!!!!!!!! Driving my bug all by myself, just me and the car, how sweet is that feeling. Now i truly know what the 'dub factor' is.

Will do to all of those, especially waving to dubbers. I waved to some guy in an orange bay during my test, but he didn't wave back.:o wanker, lol, just kidding. but i did pull up next to a nice bay in the exact same colour as old bertie on my way to the test centre. Some cool guy in a hawaiian shirt and old skool hat at the wheel. He commented on how cool bertie's colour was😀 what a champ.

watch out for what is called the kombi effect.
that is when you are coming up to a corner but going past it, the idiot at the corner just pulls out on you thinking that you are only a vw so you are going slow.
i have nearly been cleaned up to many times like this.

oh man, driving in a little green beetle with 'L" plates plastered all over it, people treat you like shite. Especially 4wd owners, what a bunch of proverbial f#ckwits, pardon my french. They will eratically cut in front of you because they think i'm too slow, then i pull up at the lights, and beat their slow arses off because they're hauling 3 tonnes of useless 4wd shit behind them. Repeat process 2-3 times. Attitudes of drivers is really noticeable. ppl treat me much differently when i'm driving the bug compared to my dad's BA XR6 Falcon. Man, i complain a lot hey. oh well. cheers.

congrats mate, it is an awesome feeling.. when i got my P's i just went driving around in the middle of the night, so quiet and peaceful.. gonna hafta do that tomorrow night, as i wont be able to drive my bug for a week!!

congrats dude! know how u feel about 4wdrivers.
that said i also drive a biiig landcruiser. raised up high. i am king of the road. but i must say that a lot of 4wdrivers out there can be dickheads, but then again so are a lot of ricers, females, victorians, rich people, old people, volvo drivers, p platers, etc etc etc.
congrats on the Ps, just dont drive tired!
