So ran the idea past a couple of people today. The birth of a Type 2 Club, No membership fees, no pressures. Just an excuse for splits, bays and T25's to meet up and have a drive ect ect This is not meant to break the ranks of existing clubs but to work in conjunction with clubs in the area i.e Gold Coast Vee Dub Club, Klub VW, BLB and Gathering of the Faithful.
Hopefuilly get a few more out driving and supporting events.
Anybody interested from the South East, Gold Coast, Brissie, Sunshine Coast.
Would like some feedback on this one.

Didnt know anything about a cruise, Where to? and will you all be tearing off at 150 kph. Leaving me and me split to travel on our own :-(

I would appreciate if you kept your comments to yourself.
How am I going to win a trophy if the judges find out.
You know I spent 3 and a half years and over $20k just so I could win a $5.00 trophy.

Rob thats good, we have a fair database of local kombis now, who do not belong to any club and its not meant to split the existing clubs, more to bring out greater numbers to all meetings

We will be meeting at the Broadwater Carpark at 10:00am, then heading for the hills - we thought that we might try to find a nice winery for lunch. Everyone is welcome!
As for 150km/h...I wish - ever tried to do 150km/h in a 40hp bug?...we only do the speed limit...if you are unable to to the speed limit please let us know before we leave so that we can adjust our cruise speed. Where we are heading for on the 30th is mainly 60-80 zones so there shouldn't be a problem there.
