Just done over 1K Km's in the kombi,I will admit at first I was very scared of driving it, drum brakes and dickhead other drivers.
But now I have had a change of mind and I am driving it like I stole it, If I damage it I will fix it, done it once I can do it again.
It sits nice on 110kms and isnt too slow on take off.
I will be seeing Roy at Classicvw(pacific) for some CSP disc brakes as I dont really trust the drums.
Overall it is a nice driver, still njot fitted a stereo as I am still laughing to myself when I drive it.

Was thinking of carrying an anchor, and just throwing that out the back an hour befroe I want to stop.
The brakes would be O.K. for a stock 1200 but not for a 1600 big block.

Disc's kick your wheel track outwards aswell,
But ir you bend your beam in the middle you can shorten it back in.

Probably,
I know this guy,who's mates with a guy,
He runs 125's on a set of 8 inch wheels and has no problems.
Maybe try that?

Mate,
you odn't need an anchor...just thorow a kid out.....they also double as a siren when u do it (as in arrrrghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!) so everyone knows ur around and give way to ya.
