so what would one pay for one in need of a lot of work and does any one now were one is i cant aford a ready to go one but have tons of engine and chassi parts and a beater and painter by trade so the body does not warry me i have cash and want to spend it

if u buy a knackered one make sure u have an old engineers cert from back when it was still legal to cut the chassis for the chassis u will be using. or have proof of 2 years rego. other wise u will find yourself not ebing able to register it.

expect to pay from about 2k up for anything that is unreg but has been regoed.
Anything that is regoed expect to pay anything above 5k.
I have regoed 2 buggies in NSW that have been regoed previously, and i have regoed 2 buggies that have never held rego.
It can still be done. you just have to shop around your engineers first. 😀
