i think it ended up being around 3 grand that is using a broker and everything if u done it yourself could prolly save 500-700 hundred!!?!?! not worth ur time and effort!

Hey man. Congrats. This will be the second one I know of in Australia. Tell me if you can how did you go about paying the seller. Shipping doesn't scare me but paying a seller and then having them do a runner does. Did you pay it to the shipping company who then pay the seller? Please share this vital information.

well people the bloody broker didnt get the approval for the importation before importing but its ok just gotta wait 5 days for it to process!!! he is going to be out of pocket majorly as the container has to sit on the wharf until it is approved!!!
anyway we was hoping for a appearance at dubs by the pub but that wont happen know but most likely nationals!!
it is a LHD machine it is missing the passenger seat which it never cam with from the factory but has a factory wood slat roof rack with it!!!
i thought u would of picked up the belt line indentation for the lock wes have a look again!!
we on have pics of around the body none in general of the body it suppodsly had US$6000 spent on rust repairs and has already had the body off the floorpan and rebuilt most!! for what we got this for it is an absolute steal picture this being in the country and the cost of the car for under AUS$10000 !!!!!!!!
here is a fridolin fact for you : these baby's are based on karmann ghia floorpans! bet u didnt know that!!!!
will get a shit load of pics when i can!
