Seriously looking for Old Pics of all Volkswagen's dating back as far as possible , especially any Australian pics of the 50's and 60s showing the trusty in use.

Behind the race car is a Kombi a beetle even I think an old Mk1 Cortina. Sweet!!!!!!!!!!
Split beetle Baja, imagine what would happen to someone if they did that today!🙂

Its actually a Kommanduerswagen which was used through WWII as a staff car
They ran a Kubel Chassis (reduction hubs and lift spindles), had 3 seats, a map table and a rifle rack, shovels, jerry cans, black out light etc.
People do make them today as replicas, but usually by grafting in a split window panel to a later bug.
Although there are a few rear splits out there and even a few original Kommanduerswagens
