hehe the DTM looks interesting. I hate how it lists "market price" and "our price" and shows you how much you're saving. Also I hate testimonials. It really cheapens it. I think its more of an american thing though.

What about all the quality VW specialists here in Oz??
I'm sure there's plenty of places with performance type 4 experience, and sure to be cheaper with freight/duty etc taken into account.

I must admit at least he backs up his views and opinions (which he has many of) with actual testing and real data rather than the usual $hit people speak.

Had a few discussions with him years ago when STF first started up and it wasnt very helpful
What i do agree with (I guess a bit like Pobjoy), you get THIS combo, this cam, this head etc etc
That way, you aint reinventing the wheel each time.
Just, when he is down on something (eg Porsche shroud) does he dump on it - and that was 6 months after he was singing its praises :duh

Been lurking here for a good while and figured it was time to pop in and crash the party...
I may make some big statements and sometimes may make conflicting statements, but thats simply because things vary so much from engine to engine and application to application.As I test I pay attention and learn, and some results vary in different tests. As the old saying goes "Only a fool can't change his mind"... When something works, it works and I share that. When something doesn't work I will also share it- So what if things change?
We learn something new with every test. Be glad that I atleast share it with you in any capacity, last time I checked I wasn't charging for it.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you, especially when everyone else is just selling non tested junk....
