btw, drop is about 2 - 2.5 inches

are they CB ones? IE do they widen the track? are they disc or drum ?Regards Mitchell
Ross ·
Can you put wide 5 drums on them?????

can these be used on a 71 Sbug?... I should know this But I don't. LOL
ab ·
These are disc brake spindles, so only 4 stud discs can be fitted. They will not fit a superbug as it has struts, not a beam front end like the 1500.
They are original vw spindles been modified, to a very high standard of workmanship (look better made than the CB ones!!). The extra offset would be minimal looking at these next to stock ones.

serious offers considered (insults ignored - you know who you are!😉 )
c'mon guys, cough up to get you bug down!

Good price. Mine cost more than double that and the drop retains the suspension geometry, unlike adjusters. I think the height difference is perfect for a practical daily driver or even if you don't want to do the whole drop with adjusters: use the spindles for 2.5 and then a little more with the adjusters instead of the whole lot.

Is this legal?
ab ·
No drop spindles are legal to the letter of the law unless inspected by an approved engineer and approved. Mikes from CBB's are welded and has had the welds inspected and passed many times.
No different to an adjustable beam - illegal unless endorsed by an engineer. Up to the individual.

thats right, no spindles (or any new/repro/modified parts for that matter) are legal unless they have an engineer's certificate to go with them
