Anyone know where I can get repro ones of these?
As My car is January and has roll over 53 parts on it like luggage rack etc I really want to put ribbed bars. I have a set of mint 54 bars but I want to run 51's. Blade over riders would also be cool but not necessary.
I have attached a pic of what I am looking for.

Make sure you have money in your pocket when you find them.... they can be a little rich... I think there is some reproduction ones made a while ago.

you can get perfect repros from germany for 900 euros a pair(plus shipping which would be a killer)but ive seen at least 10 original ones on ebay.de with the last 2 months(original but need work ie.minor dents+deffinate rechroming)sell for around the 150-200 euros each,normally without the horns(but remember shipping is very expensive from germany!!!

its funny, would they cost the same to make as repro towel rails or blades? is it just coz ppl WILL pay 900US that they charge that amount? crazy....

unreal, and as Sam says they wouldn't cost any more than a blade or Europa bumper to make.....

Not entirely true guys. The repop'd oval, early 60's bars are a little different in shape to the originals.....(not much but they are!) Also the chrome is knowhere near the quality of the originals. Where as the split repop'd bars are exactly the same quality (metal/shape) as the originals. They are also Made in Germany (I'm not 100% sure, But I remember reading it on the samba!) and the demand is not as great, therefore making the price higher. They also wouldnt be as easy to make them, as they have the ribbed section, that makes it or brakes it. If that aint spot on, people would pick them a mile away.

last time i saw NOS bars for sale they were $ 2000 USD each.... n taht was quite a few years go....
so imagine the price now.

i argee with unity on this one,the excellent repros copper plated under chrome and all.and the horns are ones that you get from europe are just like the originals not like the cast cheapo types that turn up on ebay every now and then!they european ones are expensive and im sure that you could get cheaper repros elsewhere but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for!!!
