It costs about $2k to have your car in the Shanon's auction at the motor show!!! Regardless if you sell or not!!!
micromatt ·
And your point would be what adster?
helbus ·
Yes it is the Mobil Combi full o cash bus, and it is currently owned by a Shannons employee

He probably gets a staff discount.

I heard $17000 being tossed around. Might have been tossing. I wasn't there.
soft notch ·
$17,500 to be precise.
micromatt ·
Yeah, soft notch is presice. After some pretty fierce bidding, including serious interest from our good friends OS, the vehicle was sold to some lucky bugger in OZ. He/she has purchased him/herself an absolute gem. The previous owner (who incidently continues to speak in the third person🙂, can now afford to finish his 64 microbus - and go to Pomona in June, - and do more to the house, - and keep the missus happy.
Hey Ash!!! Thanks for the kind words. Will catch up with you when I next head North.

Well done Matt, Pomona here we come!! More beer/swapmeet/show entry/nights at Hooters and general bad behaviour money 😉
micromatt ·
Hey Stealth..
Funny you should mention beer. Having yet another celebratory ale as we speak, quickly followed by another.
Does Hooters have a website?
