Haven't used them, my guages are all too big or too small. Metal. Surface is slightly rough, waiting to be painted/finished I guess. I'm a bit shattered but I was going to do a full dash change anyway. $60 plus postage.

Sorry, I made mine from aluminium.....
Bloody terrible job..... would have rather bought them...
I did buy a set from the USA with thoughts of turning them over..... but they aren't the same shape...
LHD are different to RHD in reverse.... strange but true...
Same as a fuel flap from a 1971 1302S is different to a fuel flap from a 68 Beetle..... why change that ????

Yeah i noticed a few variations in fuel flaps between 68-76, four and counting I think.
oh yeah... bump
ruckus ·
Ok, no interest in the next couple of days and they're going on ebay
cray ·
how much do you reckon to post to sydney?
ruckus ·
Depends on how you want them posted. Not much though as they're quite light and small.
robnjo ·
will you take 50 bucks with postage to QLD...?
ruckus ·
How 'bout $60 with postage. Cray's got first dibs but if no word tomorrow night they'll go to next in line.
cray ·
nah, i'll have to bail i think. i can't think of 5 gauges i'd need in my car anyhow :P
robnjo ·
... only thing is the Tacho I'm using is a 3 inch/76mm, has anybody got an idea as to how I could put my Tacho in a 86mm hole???, please.

Lee, a '68 Beetle fuel flap doesn't have a remote opening cable like a '69+ does....
