Where can I flared guards and moulded side skirts for my 69?

Can anyone help? I am looking for the ones that look similar or are the careera style flared guards and side skirts that mould onto the guards.

Don't do it! Keep this baby with stock guards. Check out the members rides for the look you can get by keeping it classic, not plastic.

do a search at the top using words flared guards..

but ya sure u want to....she's so nice now.

just srop her if u have too, and see how that changes the look

What do you mean srop her? I will be modifying the bug wuite a but anyway and pitting 17" rims on my baby. Do you think I can still fit them under her original guards?

I think it's a typo...drop her....lower her....

17's will fit easily under standard guards...dependant on width of course of your wheel.

Here's a pic of GL1972 - Brendan's car with 17's....no plastic anywhere.

I think what we're trying to say is that the Carerra phase is very 80's....it's been and gone. Yes, some people still like to do it - but I think the scene has moved on from that. Your call.....have fun. 馃檪

ebay have heaps of accessories to hot up old vw..

goes the led gear sticks, light up tyre tighteners, neon lights for under dash & seats. neon window washers...heaps...

I'm thinking red and skulls together...i found a place where i can buy an alloy bone hand for the side....thinking od buying two and placing on back of door so it looks like someone was once holding on...but that's for elton, not edith ...edith is the flutterbug who believes in peace and harmony, not like elton, who is always ready to rock and roll nice and hard...

their off a super guys...super into standard (at front) don't go..

so she ends up with front wheel guards she has to give to me...on second thoughts go go go.

MMMMM, very interesting feedback!! haha. I have been looking at piccies of VW's all day and I think the kits can look awesome but I have seen a pic of a hotted up Beetle that looks gorgeous with all the original guards and biiiiiiig wheels!! So I am considering that. And thanx for that link I had a look but he is in newcastle.

And there is nothing wrong with neons I am deffinately putting some under my bug and possibly a black light in the actual car. Don't be frightened to try something different people 馃槈

hey foxy... ive got what you want 馃檪 but some of it needs work! (much crackage and rear bumper snapped. nothing a fibreglasser or a few days and some friends cant fix)
ive got the guards, side skirts, whale tail, air scoop and bumpers.

im modifying my 68 to look like an early so i dont want these bits anymore. let me know 馃檪

and i love the carerra look, its 80's and trashy and tres cool! but then again i love plastic and retro and anything unusual 馃檪 if you do it right, it looks really hot and gets LOTS of attention!

Ppl that go on the Atkins end up dying with either cardiac disease or kidney failure. We need carbs to give us energy and to provide our bodies with enough fuel to work !!!!

Carbs are actually quite healthy and low in fat, it is what we put on them that is the issue !!!!!!!
