I dont know if anyone can help me but im after an old beetle (obvouisly) :P that needs restoring. I dont want one that is rusted out or with lots of panel damage just a decent one that needs restoring.
Ive looking on car sales,ebay,trading post and tried searching on the net and cant really find anything.
I rang Beetle Exchange in A.C.T but im not sure about them there ones that need restoring are abit more expensive then one i can buy privatly.
Im looking at spending no more then $1000 hopefully id rather spend my money on doing it up then an over priced shit box. :P
Any help would be appricated im in NSW (Sydney)

yeh, there is alot in the buying cars section worth taking a look at. patience will be your greatest reward, cause they pop up. for that money thoough, there might be a wee bit of rust somewhere.

for the price u get either rust and body work, or interior, or both.
keep ur eye out, u may get lucky, I have. twice in fact (so how come i got three kids and none are twins??)
Does it have to be a bettle, or just a VW...

2 small rust bubbles just starting at the bottom of the passenger door.
good gearbox
$1,200 firm or $2,000 firm with a Balanced 1640cc twinport with single 36mm DCN weber and custom hide away exaust.
Now requires blue slip, been out of reg just on 3 months, but would pass without doing anything to it

Im pritty interested in that blue one.
Not sure how soon you want to sell it cause it could be a 4-6 weeks before i pull $2k together. id rather by it with an engine if its only $800 more.
Is that price neg?

to easy, about 20mins work and $1's worth of welding wire
