does anyone have a pic of a beetle with cats eyes? I'm trying to decide which would look better before i buy a pair from volksfolks.
Even if you don't have a pic, what is everyone's opinions?

They're pretty cool. Get them anyway, put them on - if you don't like them, take them off and sell them.

These are the special type with the red or blue dot, premium quality stainless steel, you said yours was a later model though Queen, so they will look like the type 3 headlights!

Have to have sealed beams to fit cat eyes.

what that mean...no good for the super??
pr 71 standard?
empi ·
There are sealed beams and semi sealed, sealed are the same as a Mk1 golf head light (fully sealed unit) a semi sealed is a multi piece head light that you put a bulb into. both lights have a slightly diffrent cicumfrence. cat eyes fit Fully sealed beams which happen to be us spec on all cars.
These can be obtained at any auto shop or vw dealer easy to fit .

Cats Eyes, no contest. Eveyone uses eyelids.

yeh, that's what I was thinkin too... (but the future may prove me to be a hypocrit)
how much do cat eyes usually go for? And do they only mount on the inside? I think I've seen them on the exterior of the lense before...
i keep thinging i'd like some...but then why aren't ppl buying em?? are they difficult to fit, certain type only??

trend, fashion ,
I'm sure whale tails used to be though of as cool, so why aint people still fitting them.
As far as i know they are cheap and a nice bit of bling, so why not...I have though of putting them on my splity, but I too am not sure whether cats or eyelids, but if the decision is restricted by the type of head light, that makes it easyer
