i have been bidding on a set of oval tail lights on ebay i have been highest bidder for the last couple of days at $52 just got on ,i was still highest bidder with 25 seconds to go hit refresh
and was out bidded at $65
thought i had it in the bag

when i first started on ebay so many outbid me that way....

You CAN Bid $300 for an item at $50 just minutes away
from the end....
and You WILL WIN.... as other bids will be $60 - $70 usually
Just Bid the Maximum AMOUNT a minute or so away from the end of the Auction.....
Don't bid $5 - $10 over the winning amount....
as You can get beat..... and then there is NO more time to bid

Be careful with what 68autobug just suggested as you can quickly see if i bid $300 over what it was worth to win and you bid $350 you would quickly be paying $301 more than you need to for an item that may be worth heaps less. Ebay will auto bid for you.
Just remember a bid is a contract.
The idea is good though and i have used it but just be careful.

TIP - Don't bid at ALL till the last 5-10 seconds and then your highest price. I have a 95% success rate with this. They don't even know your coming. Oh bugger, now don't bid on anything I want guys and grrrrls!

go to e-snipe and regisiter then you can snipe what ever you want at the last second (as long as you are the highest bidder of course).

in saying that i made a bid for a surfboard last week 15 seconds before the end, someone out bid me 5 secs before the end...my computor was too slow
