XT's awesome so much faster than my brother's GT
think it's faster than a WRX?

Resto64 ·

buzzbug ·

well that is one way to lower it :P:P

hypo-vw ·

nice subi buzzbug , Kim must be really happy with that !!:bounce:bounce

h ·

a natural progression to supplement my addiction to flat 4's..
it seems catchy 😉

buzzbug ·

Kim is very happy with it mate,

I have to wrestle the keys out of her hands.

Just wait till i lower it and stick some 17's under it.

Then i will have no chance of getting the keys out of her hands:P:P

ColumBUS ·

my mate noddy just bought the 2005 model... boy does she fly!

seagull ·

I have a 3ltr outback very nice ! silly air con speed but

Resto64 ·

ColumBUS ·

bugeyedbabe ·

bugeyedbabe ·

but i guess thats why i don't drive a 4x4

Fossil ·

Yup - seems if ya got or had a flat four VW then you go to a Scooby Doo - great fun with the sales rep when they go on about the boxer flat four :blah:blah:blah:blah and then you tell them well the Japs or FHI (Fuji Heavy Industries) have never developed an engine - they take others and refine then and do a good job but don't boast about copying the authentic flat four :cussing Shit it shuts them up quick when you tell them my other car is an aircooled VW so we know out boxer engines:duh

buzzbug ·

I got 550km from the last tank of fuel,
that was part high way, part city.

by the way the fuel tanks are 60l.

lee.

buzzbug ·

mind you i do drive like an old lady.

spose i should have bought a volvo.:thumb:thumb

jenz58 ·

..... so many new 4x4's on the road over the long weekend...all shiny and not leaving bitchemen....some hardly leave the city......I hope you guys are gunna go off road...or at least use them as they should be....

I'd go for an old Land Rover if I went that way...luv the look....

Have people gone past he van/bus as a people mover these days...that's what most women driving them in the city use them for....

The new ones just aren't doing it for me...guess you do get sick of the Toorak tractors in town..

What is the rational these days...why do you go for the shiny plush ones??

I just need to know...

It must be exciting though getting the new car...enjoy it 🙂

Mmmmmmmm 4x4,

i don't class the forester as a 4x4, i see it as an all wheel drive.
Difference?

4x4's you take down the beach and belt through the bush in,

AWD you feel safe in when driving in adverse conditions and inclament weather and you also feel safe knowing that your loved ones are safe in it too. Yes you can take them off road, but no where near the extent of a land cruiser of patrol.

Resto64 ·

yer was about to say that , AWD not 4WD
mine take premium fuel as well so it just get worse
turbo 2.5 sucks the juice
you get about 50km's more than i and you would be using unleaded
but fark it goes hard
