I was after one of those old school rear scoops that sits over the air intake under the back window of a beetle. Baja's have a bigger one that has a larger section in the center, although I was after the smaller one.

I don't know if anyone makes them any more....
I have a new one I bought many years ago...
but I may use it later on..... SORRY...
the fellow I bought it off wanted to give Me the
mould etc to make them.....
but I don't know anything about fiberglass....
so I didn't take it....
Keep looking at swap meets.....
people may have them and not know what they are...

You can get them in the USA.about $35. Just unsure about shipping due to strength of scoop.

Look in google under "deck lid air scoop" you will see a few for sale at various shops in the states..some have pics.
Looks like I may have got one locally from a kind dubber for nothing, its slightly damaged, so I may modify it to look a bit more modern...please post a pic, as for $30 I will get a couple.
