Don't know about selling the car but the pic is real, it was in the daily telegraph a couple of weeks a go. Apparently the driver lost control and crashed into a holden dealer. It was is Sydney somewhere

Fossil · 15 Mar 2005, 5:22 pm

Seen this - iot was an 18 year old who took a brand new Club Sport for a test drive and smashed up about 6 cars coming back into the dealership - what a dick

pod · 15 Mar 2005, 5:33 pm

i think Sax means being able to buy someone to take the rap for your speeding tickets so you dont loose points to loose your licence:repuke

i think they need :vader

Chewy · 15 Mar 2005, 5:33 pm

is that legal?

ruckus · 15 Mar 2005, 5:34 pm

Think he means people selling their license points not the car guys!

Dodgy Bros or what!

ruckus · 15 Mar 2005, 5:34 pm

damn beat me to it pod :thumb

sleeper · 15 Mar 2005, 5:38 pm

i guess that could work if another person is nominated on the infrigement notice as being the driver of the vehicle at the time of the offence, but then again that would only work for speed camera infrigements.....
in my opnion...NOT LEGAL, but then again it's only illegal if you get caught....

VWFOOL · 15 Mar 2005, 5:40 pm

i know people who hav done this so they didnt lose their licence, u nominate someone as being the driver wen caught by a speeding camera or sumthing, pay them cash and they lose the points. clever people to auction it though...

sax · 15 Mar 2005, 6:13 pm

There is a way to escape camera offences without paying anything.
I've done it several times now with success and NO, im not keen on
sharing the secret and letting authorities act on it.

type3lover · 15 Mar 2005, 6:27 pm

That's pretty dodgy. I mean you might just ask a friend if you're out of points but this is blatent idiocy IMHO!

EgeWorks · 15 Mar 2005, 8:16 pm

This just keeps dangerous drivers on the road! I'm not all that fond of the police but if you can't keep under the speed limit most of the time you don't deserve to have a vehicle or license at all.

kombi_kid · 15 Mar 2005, 8:27 pm

i know of a rich people who pay back pakers to cope there points and pay them for it (easy money for a backpacker!!)
i will do it when possible!
