G'day Everybody,
I'm selling a complete exhaust system for type 1 upright engines. The system includes j tubes, merged header and muffler. It is an extractor system with 1 3/8" tubing and the muffler has 2 1/2" inlets and outlets (a high flow muffler). On top of that all the parts are ceramic coated and brand new (the pic shows all). Also included are all the clamps and gaskets needed to bolt it straight on. The whole system would bring a great boost to any engine. I'm asking $500 for the lot. Any questions feel free to fire away.
Cheers,
Dustin

Spending honeymoon money on car stuff may not be the best start to your marriage....

No but it sets the ground rules for later on
IF you dont do it now she will expect you to give in ERVERY other time.
Stand up and show who os boss in the house.
DAMN IT MAN......... BUY THAT EXHAUST!!! :vader
:P:P:P

is it fully or partial merge? can you show a better pick of the merge from side on?
DIY-DUB ·
Mmmmm i like shiny bits
dusto81 ·
I believe it is fulley merged, but I don't what the difference is. Basically all 4 pipes merge together and then where you see the seam/weld on the picture it is extra tubing that collects all the gases together. So I would maybe assume fully merged.
Yeh it can be a good idea to lay down those rules early, if your driving to your honeymoon you'll get there a little quicker...

already had the honeymoon etc. now just have to pay for it.
it's a good price for the exhaust too.
I'd snap it up in a second, but unfortunately, bad timing.
if you still have it in 6-8 weeks time, I'll take it, but don't hold it for me. 🙂

I was hoping to sell them soon, but if I have no luck it's all yours, just send me an email at dusto81@hotmail.com whenever.

Why are u selling Dustin ?
and where in Melb are you?
[Edited on 19-3-2005 by beerdoc]
dusto81 ·
I'm selling it because I was building a type 1 project engine. Unfortunately money has run short and my Kombi (daily driver) has had some troubles and needs money and care. I am in Ringwood in Melbourne, but could meet you in Geelong, as it'll just make me go to the beach for the day, not such a bad thing.
Cheers,
Dustin

No worries mate, one day I'll buy a new set, but I wanted to save my money for the nats just in case there was a "must buy" there.
