Volkswagen in Australia - The forgetten story

I got my copy of this book last week. I went for the limited edition copy (250 only) with the nice box that looks like a VW parts box and reproduction VW booklet and CD.
Finished reading it for the first time to night and its excellent.
Rod and Lloyd have done a brilliant job on this.
Highy recomend that anyone interested in VW history should get a copy. Well worth it.

got to agree although i only have the standard edition!

it is good...probably only needed the standard version however the dvd is a good watch...

At the VWCV meeting it was stated by Rod's wife that there is only 80 limited books available out of 250.

If you want one get in quick as they won't last at this rate.

I picked mine up at the meeting - excellent stuff, well written and fantastic black and white and full color photos all through. I wonder why we and Nambucca didn't get a mention! 😉

I really enjoyed the DVD as well. Now to put it all back the way it came and put it away for a rainy day.

I picked mine up last week. Haven't watched the dvd yet... saving it for a rainy day (more like saving it for when I'm on holiday!)
Thought I'd better get the deluxe edition as Wolf is in it 😉

I have an exclusive interview with Rod Davies in the next issue. His brother Lloyd, the co-author, also features with a very rare Beetle they both own.
