Went to school in the same form as David Wenham. Paul Osborne from the Raiders was the year below me. Also played lots of lower grade cricket with Gavin Robertson and Jason Gallian [Eng] before they played for their countries.

I went to school with Mick Jones from The Clash and Big Audio Dynamite, also one of my mates played for Arsenal (English soccer team!) Dave Price. Don't think it counts but my younger sister was in Face Off with John Travolta and ....I can't remember his name but the character was "Caster Troy", my sister was also in Friends for one or two shows and Dharma and Greg and I never watched either of them.

*Red Simons lived at the end of my street and came into a cafe i worked in, right cockhead, would walk to the front of the counter through everyone demanding/expecting service b4 everyone waiting then w his feral son would sit w someone else on their table (if there wasnt a free one) using most of it w his newspaper letting his feral som annoy the shit out of the stranger and make a fricking mess...................did i mention he is a cockhead ?
*hoddle street masacre (sp?) was 1 ro 2 blocks away and could hear gunshots in our house. Cousin was a copper and got shot, the bullet grazed his back from shoulder to shoulder and is scarred from it. All the cops took their reflective hats off coz it was note. The big wig cop got there and made them put them back on. My mum's family fainlty knew the shooters family. i can point his house out.

My claim to fame is that I went to school with Anthony Mundine(St George NRL & Boxing ... hahahaha) and Lance Thompson(St George NRL). Won't tell you what I really think of them. Also went to the same school as the Smith's Gobbledock (sp?), well the person that used to dance around in the suit. Peter Coyne (St George NRL) was a substitute teacher at my school and coached me in hockey for a while.

Worked as a barman at Lisa Curry Kennys b'day, got her and all her friends really really pissed. And saved Grant Kenny from going over the railings on the hire boat the party was on.
Also use to do my surf life svaing proficiancy training with Grant Kenny.

went for a ride in Glen Rich's alfa rally car around the Melbourne GP circuit a few GPs agoe after my uncle sold him a Camaro (i think it was the Camaro)one if the girls from a couple of years below me is currently in X-factor, when a guy threatened to go on a kiling spree with his chainsaw in 1986 (i think it was in Bayswater) i was evacuated (was a couple of houses down). a family friend is the host of the Rock Quiz on SBS and does lots of stage plays. thats about it, pretty boring really compared to some of you. know alot of dudes in bands who deserve to be famous one day, but none that are currently.

mmm some of mite not know these people but anyone from the uk will....... my father was a"friend" with the kray twins and buster(the great train robber) i rememebr meeting buster when he was selling flowers on the bridge(after he did the naughty stuff ) but i dont remember meeting the krays even tho my dad says i have.

Steff, Good to hear someone has good taste😀 Buster used to sell flowers outside Waterloo station just round the corner from where I lived and I actually went out with a girl by the name of Karen Richardson whose dad was never home when I was there (luckily enough) I'm afraid that when it was explained to me who her father was I decided as discretion is the better part of valour so cowardice is the better part of discretion and stopped seeing her as I thought I might need my testicles later on in life. I know a fair amount of the famous geeks on the planet, e-mail many of them regularly, and have had some of them at parties and conferences I've run. I am almost one of them (will have a higher profile soon when I finish writing a book).
The guy in the year before me at school is the Hoddle St massacre dude. I didn't know him though - my own year level had 300 students and I didn't know most of them either. My school has more people in the Australian Who's Who than any other school in Australia, so I wont drop too many names as it's simply not fair to the rest of you. 😉

i met billy connelly in NZ when i was on a contiki tour. he was lovely, posed for our pics and i was all embarassed!
my bro is in a band and he will be famous one day (www.notwritenow.2ya.com). they have been on the tv and radio a little bit...
my uncle was an extra in home and away...lol
and finally...my dad was good friends with eric grothe snr (footballer man) and he sold his rickenbacker (sp?) guitar to my dad. i remember this one time eric and his sons come over and the boys spilt tomato sauce on our brand new kitchen floor...i was cut...
as it turned out, his sons went to my high school.
oh one more lame fame...i went to arj barkers show the other day (comedian)...and he was chatting to my friend and i (he was chatting to everyone really) but he referred to us (in a nice way) in one of his impromtu jokes...!! how excitement

ive organised gigs for not write now! first time i saw them play was a battle of the bands at liverpool rsl a while back. they did a punk cover of a ja rule song that kicked arse! i helped run a battle of the bands that they were finalists in in camden last year.
ive also done gigs for bands antonamasia, 4 sale, and too selfish for sunday. the lead singer for 4 sale is in my drama class, and he does the c91.3 ads. and if your into ska, look out for los capitanes. their currently touring with the porkers; good friends of mine from canberra that i met at onstage.

went to school and dated justin wilcomes who used to do the net 50 and graveyard shifts on triple j a few years back... this was before he realised he was gay (and i thought it was so bloody obvious!) last i heard of him he caned it pretty hard in sydney (too much drugs and nightlife!) and rang me to let me know he was living and working in radio in townsville... an absolute cacker of a friend and someone i would love to get back in touch with! has anyone up north heard of him?

forgot to mention that one of my sons friends father is married to kate kendall from stingers....and i broke my noise perving at alastra lynch a few years ago , i was a footy trainner and fillin up the water drum ALLY was in the dressin rooms near the tap and i was watchin him and putting my drum on a fridge trolley but didnt watch the trolly and smack right in my face when i put the drum on,,,,,,,well blood every where what an embarrement,,,,,,busted for perving and then had to get my noise fixed.....lession to learn when perving have no other job to do as its a distraction,,,,,,,,,
