Has anyone purchased the attached brazillian taillights. And if so what is the quality like?

Think Roy @ Classic VW Pacific can comment on these as he was trying to get me to buy a set for the front and back of my 73 bay.
I have also seen them posted on hear soemwhere but the brain cell can't recall where or when:P

i have pruchased similar ones (but with grey housings and i think a simpler lense), housings were excellent, but lenses are a litle fragile and dont mix well with turps.

I keep umming & ahhring about a set, at least theyu cant fade:thumb
but one thing to keep in mind about both types of clear ones is there is a possibility of getting picked up for not having red reflectors, so you would have to put on some, somewhere

Should be right in QLD. We don't have to do pink slips for rego up here. they do look great on my bus against the bright orange

yepo mate they are pretty cool didnt have any trouble with police around here and they gave my ro trouple for having purple dots in his tail lights

copycat! those are the same set as mine, the white on your bus looks like a modern white (like mine), the only difference is your orange isnt as strong and isnt on the roof:P

I have clear tailights on the new beetle and have never had a problem, apart from the fact that at a distance it looks the same from the front and the rear !!!!

Kombi Kid yours are different to the set pictured. Yours are known as the bubble style, the others are known as flat stock clear style. The stock clear style are no longer being made. I have tried to get a set a few times but to no avail. Can get clear bubbles no probs.

Thanks for that kombi_kid. Although they are a different style the quality should be about the same
