that rat bus was mental, i loved the metal stiches in the roof but that thing was so far gone it would be a massive job just getting it regod , it got my and my girlfriends vote for peoples choice.

I've logged on over in Manly....drove into the city after the Nat's...wandered...caught d ferry and straight into the first interent cafe I've found since getting here on Friday....I was going inot withdrawals :jesus

Gotta log off soon or miss the last ferry back to town...I also figure Krispy Creme might be over this way...thought I saw a sign...all I could see was the word creme from under another sign...BUGGAR...it was ice-cream!!!....I'm about to go wander some more....fingers crossed...:tree

How in the world do You do it....

the white Baja beetle with black guards came from Muswellbrook this morning and broke the end off a rocker
shaft in the engine.... in the middle of nowhere, and the mobile phones didn't work either.... pic 128

Luckily His two brothers were also going to the nationals in other cars, so His father drove back to Muswellbrook
to pick up another rocker shaft [an hour each way] and bring it back while His Son minded His beetle...
on the side of the road in middle of nowhere!!
But they all still made it....
to the Nationals.....

Great show yesterday, wonderful to meet Barls and his Dad. My son, 8yrs old loved the whole thing particularly the face painting.

Steve Mullers rat splitty was found pretty much like that in a paddock. It took him 7 minutes to get it running.

Well I must say that I had a great day at the Nats despite the fact that I almost didn't have a voice. It was great to meet some of you.... wish I had met more of you.

Barls... lucky you changed your mind about who the dodgy character is other wise I would have to hunt you down......................... to return the beer bottle. LOL
