We normally can load them on here as long as they are under 50kb.
But we have reached our limit and you will have to wait till 1st April to post them, unless you host them elsewhere.

Cheers
Dave

easiest way is to down load a programme called Irfanview

barls ·

try reducing the res or the actual dimensions of the pic

dodge ·

What i normally do is
1. right click the pic in windows explorer and select "view in Paint".
2. it opens paint (yes, I'm not that sophisticated) and then i select Image -> Stretch/Skew
3. I then pick a percentage (if the pic is REALLY big, I say 50%) and put that percentage in BOTH hoirzontal and vertical
4. I keep doin that until the pic is below 50k (you can check that in explorer)

It may be a fiddly process but you don't have to download any extra programs or anything (coz paint comes with windows) and it works 🙂

Once you've done that, I suggest you go to http://photobucket.com and register and upload your pics there. Then come back here and post your pics [ img ]http://myphotobucket.com/pics/blahblah.jpg [ / img ]

btw, its REALLY easy to register and upload your pics on photobucket.
I had no problems at all 🙂

The problem with what you are doing Dodge is just making it smaller

With Irfanview (or any other similar programme) is you can reduce the resolution / quality so as the picture is the same size

dodge ·

oh!!!!!!!

ok :blush

it always seemed to work ok for me..........

I do it the same way as dodge and the pictures aren't too small and the quality is good. It is the easiest way to reduce pictures if you don't want to stuff around with other programs.

i have used infranview and it is a good program to.

i upload mine to photobucket then open it up if it looks to big i reduce the size on photobucket till its something respectable(gotta help the 56k ers) then host it by copying the img tag and pasting it on here

I've done it the same way as dodge for all pics I've loaded without losing too much resolution.

In windows explorer (Windows XP), I also right click on the picture then click "resize picture" and choose the small option - this gets you close (when starting with a ~300kB image)...then do as dodge says...fiddly but works for me fine.
