He wouldn't let me pay for my parking after that so he either saw my disgust or felt sorry for me either way i wasn't arguing over a free park

I hate that...so ignorant...
I used to get that at one carpark...they had no idea about old cars and I hated having to park Dr L the Type 3...I didn't use them again because I didn't want his gear box stuffed anyway by incompetent drivers ..... found another one where they still jocky the car but have respect and can actually drive....

go and make an official complaint. tell them you won't come back and you'll tell your friends to avoid the place too. his opinion of your car should even be heard while he is working. in fact he should have smiled and been nice no matter whether you drive a niki or a roller. I'm sure his manager will see it this way too. attendants are meant to smile sweetly even while giving sarcastic and creative insults to wankers who dont want to pay...
trust me on this, one of my closest friends is a carpark jockey and i go see him every night at work... pure class the way he handles wankers and drunk businessmen in expensive bmw's.
i bet his 86 corolla has a pineapple tin on the exhaust to make him feel special. i say go one better and get twin webers and a monza 4-tip exhaust and see how special he feels after that...

maybe it has worked.. but i laugh cause i know i dont have to sit there in a mind numbing state looking really hard for things to do to pass the eons of time away..
just smile and know he may be back there and hope fully giving you more free parking which can be spent on beer or cocktails..
