Actually it hasnt been too bad so far. She has been sporty with swimming and athletics (look for her at 2016 olympics) likes working in the garage... but now she wants to dance. ewwwww 🙁

I asked the boss but she'd rather. just chat and spend on Ebay. Not a VW fanatic. She won't even get into the Dog-O-War until I fix the passenger side window. Won't drive it until I fix the tranny rubbers. Last excuse was the brakes. Fixed them and now she can't get it into gear.

The other half owner of Helbus is Fleur my wife, and she also has a Beetle, so I have voted for her. I only owned Holdens and Datsuns before getting involved in these "Bizzare noisy flimsy ugly" contraptions, and now I am addicted.
I have even sold one of my Holdens to up the ratio on our premises.

I got this as an original quote in John Muirs 'idiot' book. It is written somewhere in the history section. If I recall it may have been an American that said it, and so the British resurrected the factory.
Fine job they did too.
One of the first things I got when I got into VW's (converted) was get John Muirs book. It has been read from front to back at least three times, and used for at least half a dozen semi-major mechanical jobs.
I have even been able to convert a friend to get a bug after she read parts of the book and realised it wasn't just a car from A to B, it was going to become a lifestyle.
That is something I don't get with the EH. I prefer to drive the Beetle or Bus most of the time.🙂
