Chrome Beetle G/Box solid mount FS

I've got a front & middle solid mounts for a beetle gearbox, they are chromed.

how does the middle mount work?

It bolts onto the gear carrier bolts, then attaches to the frame horns

It goes under the tranny I guess?
How does it attach to the horns?
does it reduce ground clearance?
sorry for the questions but Im just trying to figure out the best type of middle mount to make for my bug, Ive never seen one like this before.

I've never had it fitted, so I'm not sure about ground clearance, but they're meant for Buggies & Bajas, I reckon they would be too noisy for a normal bug. Pretty sure you drill a hole on the side of the horns and run a bolt through the mount.
