yep. fuel pump pooed itself.
fitted up another one tonight, and seems all good now.

I heard it that with Dave O. it was also something to do with lack of front number plate, as well as T bars & the tacho of all things!! Thats just stupid, theres heaps of other cars around that actually should be defected cause they're dangerous, instead of defecting brilliant rides like these.

Thought the cops were meant to be letting us thru???

I think it's stupid that a car can be defected for having a tacho on the dash, but a taxi has that big display screen on the dash, and so do Cop cars.
I've seen Cops driving along, reading the screen, pressing buttons on it, and paying more attention to the screen. I was nearly hit by one once. It's not like my car doesn't stand out, it's a bright yellow Kombi.
Seems to me that there's two sets of rules. One for those who enforce them, and one for those who have to obide by them.

... off topic.... saw a pig on a mobile the other day.... also heard a discussion on the radio about this, apparently they are allowed to, cause they are "PROFESSIONALS" ..... do as I say, not as I do..

I think they were singled out because they stayed behind. They should ao fallen inline with everyone and just driven through the blockoff. I'm sure if the cops wanted they could of blocked off the carpark and done all of us for something or another. A also don't think this discussion should keep going on about it, I'm sure they feel bad enough as it is as for the short cruise, I thought it was great, lots of places to bunch up and from everyone I spoke to, the responce was great. how did the drive home go in the black beast?????

Yup that was me in the passenger seat of Aarons panelvan. Ride home had the same probs as the rest of the day, not running 100% due to plug fouling which is why he didn't take it on the cruise. Shame. Apparently this is common with hi-po engines...The engine needed a gear change each time it was just starting to come 'on' the cam. Next time maybe😉
