What has he said? Because I was looking at getting my 17's for my 68' beetle!? They seemed to b the only ones who knew anything and had a decent price....

i dont think im allowed to say much but a few people have had probs with their wheels not fitting, offset etc. Quality of wheel isnt something you'd write home about. Just be careful cause you cant try before you buy

Yeah the offset is a bit of a bugger ???

That's why it's taken me so long to get it. Bob Jane had some really nice ones which they ordered in and when they went to fit them, they wouldn't fit and the guy told me that they wouldn't butcher them (and I wouldn't want them to).

I went to a place called Car Shine and they were really helpful, but they didn't have much in the way of BLING. All their wheels were high quality and all specifically made for European cars but they all were powdered coated and looked similar to what I already have

My boys here: when i bought new tyres for my blings i decide to go up a size in width. i originally had on 215/40/18 and i went up to a 225. Well i drove around for a while and it felt so wrong, like the tyre was rolling off the rim, crazy. So i went back, let them drive it and showed them what was happening. They immediately took them off and put a new set of 215"s back on at no charge for the others.

That looks sweet, I want to try and keep away from the silver spoke type wheels. It has something similar on already and I want something that is "in your face" stand out (will keep original wheels for you new beetle purists out there!)
