i'm selling a 2 1/2" diameter shift knob with chrome sleeve that simply fits over your current stock shifter and screws in to tighten at the bottom. i bought it over the internet under the impression that the chrome sleeve detached from the knob so i could just use the sleeve with whatever knob i wanted, however this is not the case, and as such is no use to me, as i don't like the knob.
it is in beautiful condition and has never been fitted to a car. in fact, i only just took it out of the plastic when i received it today and then put it back in when i realised i had made a mistake.
it fits all late model beetles and type 3s and whatever else has the 12mm stock shifter.
it comes with instructions and a pretty flower sticker.
i bought it for $40 and will sell for $35 including postage to anywhere in australia, or if you live anywhere in or around the sydney metro i'll take $30 and i can drop it off to you.
for payment i prefer direct deposit, but i can accept paypal or money order.

by some crazy twist of fate i've now ended up with two of these, so i'll drop the price to $20 dropped off in the sydney metro or $25 including shipping.

they are pretty large, but they fit nicely in my hand (although i'm 6'2) and they feel really nice. would look good in an old school accessorised car. just not really my taste unfortunately. 🙂

Cray let me get this right....... you have a pretty large nob that fits nicely in your hand (even though you are a big boy 6' 2") and it feels really nice,,,,, however you wish to sell it for a hugely reduced price because you dont like the way it tastes?????? PPLLEEASE!
