Now I'm not one to talk, I know. I've got a chopped notch.
But this is going too far!!!! How could anyone deface the beautiful curves of an early notch like that?

He doesn't even show the engine - lowered may look better but that's bad as it is

Hmm.. Certainly not much left looking Volkswagenish...

I kinda like it though, in a strange way.. looks like it'd be a fun car on a weekend...

yeah, does not look like a vw anymore... resembles one of those convertible datsun roadsters...have to give it credit for all the clean work that went into it. I would like to see it at next years Nats.

jenz58 ·

...it's is hard to recognise the VW in it...and definitely not a Type 3 OMG!!

What year??? I f$$!ing closed ebay.... It's got a round nose...pre 70...but looks 70-80's kinda :duh

I guess someone created the car they wanted...and are now selling it on

Emu ·

1974 Running Gear....Hmmm... on a type 3.....didn't the T3s finish in '73.

I could get interested if only they had some Ford, Nissan, Toyota and Mazda parts on her.

.........and where is the GPS and DVD player.....

Would need personalised plates though. How about: Bitza1

zac_smits ·

Hi all,

It does not matter if your car is chopped or otherwise modifed. If it started its existance as a Type 3, then it is welcome in the Type 3 Registry:

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Dennis

A lot of work there.

Makes me even more certain now if you go the metal dash route you either have to reshape around the handle or fabricate a handle to suit.
