a Mate, a cabinet maker, is going to do a run of longboard skateboards in birch for me
These will be functional and will be supplied ready to varnish, complete, or complete minus trucks.
is anyone interested, there are many styles available, upto 8-9 inches wide and 4 foot long
Can also supply graphics such as pinstriping and flames etc. your choice of colours.
if you are interested, u2u me with what style and how complete you want it and i will get back to you with a price, payment will need to be made for custom boards, as i may not be able to cover my outlay if you cancel on me

Well they will be laminated, so i can make the thickness in increments of generally around 15mm but Dumone, i can probly go thinner but unless your pretty light i dont know how the strength of it will hold up while carving.
i am laminating so i can build rocker and castor into them but if you want em flat that can be arranged aswell.
Shapes will be from pintails to speedboards and anything inbetween.
64Mark, Prices depend on what kind of setup you are looking at, aswell as what components and style you select and the level of finish you desire. i have not made a batch of these to sell before and so im still working on the pricing. if you know what your looking for then i can sketch up a bit of a setup with shape and work out a price for you.

I lost my fav board in Cologne. It was a relatively short slalom board (80cm), with a 2mm layer of stainless steel between the birch and the trucks, and a light kicktail. Sweet smooth trucks. What a cruiser! Everyone over there loved that board (hardarsed skateheads). I still have a couple of sweet vintage cal fibreflex boards though.
For me, longboards carry too much weight for serious cruising. Any chance of having a go at a similar deck to what I just mentioned? I may be seriously interested!!! If not, I'll have a go myself sometime!

Okay, after some working out and such, i have concluded that the deck will cost around 130 depending on the finish,
Laminated birch into 12mm thick board
U2U me or add me to MSN and we can discuss the concave rocker and such of your board and finalise a price.
As for pics, they will come once i pump out a few boards, i think it will be around mid-late june till the boards are ready, but for a custom product, it will allow me to develop a quality product and test it before you recieve it.

Adam i'm planning to visit Sam pretty soon and i think we were going to meet up at some stage , maybe cruise up together??????? I can bend your ears over design etc , the longer and wider the better for me, old fart losing my balance! ! I'm costing up some trucks and wheels t'w!
