was a bit busy through the day so i thought i would do the right thing and take my son for a late afternoon surf the wind had droped coditions were glassy and 2 to3 feet enjoyed this for about an hour when my son wiped out landing on his fins resulting in 7stiches in a cut that went all the way to the bone

I have copped my fair share of fin chops and other surfing injuries.....but at least he got to enjoy the glassy conditions for an hour first! (gotta look on the bright side hey).
Would have sucked more to happen on first wave of the session. Hope it heals quickly!
