State Baja laws

Hi all veedubbers,
Does anyone know what I need to declare to the Road Transport Boys in South Australia when modifing a sedan to a Baja,
e.g, Body Kits, Lift Kits, Exhausts.

do you have yearly inspections in SA?(pinkslip) or the like...

Well build it and declare nothing..who's gunna know.

in QLD u have to get approval from the transport department. (they give u a certificate) they either give u guidelines to build build or u modify what u have to comply.

In NSW as long as the car is pre-ADR ('before '72) it just has to comply with basic safety guidelines such as no finger access to the engine and no sharp or pointy bits around the car.
