My cabrio is called Veronica as in Veronica Volkswagen.
I name all my cars, it is some twisted obession !!!!
I have even named by Daewoo (yes laugh all you want ! But I don't care, she was cheap and it is far better driving her all the time than the bug). Her name is Deliah, was in why why Deliah ????

These names are cool. I think the reason we name our cars is because we have a passion for them, and like a real person, if we take care of the car, she will/or he will take care of us.

my bugs name is cherry... this is because shes red, and sexy, and that was the name her previous owners gave her and it suited.
when i have painted her sides cream and fixed her up with nice chromie bits, shes going to be called cherry sundae.

edith, cause that what her previous owners had called her...its even written on the inside drivers door....
elton, cause when i took it for a test drive...it wouldnt drive well...but then the owner (male) hpped in...drove it fast and hard...and he fired to life....also cause he's short, cuddlely and having a sexualy identity crisis....
my non vw van is called rosie...cause she large, older, and reminds me of an old english nanny....the type to always come to ur resue and take care of me and the kids...

These names come to mind when i am fixing her and nothing will go right, when shes running like a dream. Love her to bits. Thats when shes called Martha. No reason for it. Old school name for an old school car. And she knows how to strut her stuff. 😉

my '60 is called Heidi as her number plate is HDY and it sounds very german 😀
we had a golf called Kermit (it was Kermit green)
Our other vw doesn't have a name though 🙁 we just call it passat..

My beetle's name is Wolfgang Vladimir. Had a long search through a baby name book when I got him to find a good german name... his initials are WV too 🙂
He never gets the Vladimir bit... and my mum is the only one who calls him Wolfgang. Most of the time it's Wolf - but he has a few friends who call him Wolfie.

depending on her mood, some days she is beauty and other days she is beast, so i call her beauty and the beast as she can be both. tends to be more beauty then beast though, only a beast when i take her to the mechanic and she shows him everything that needs fixing.
