Question for Hot VW's Subscribers

Have any of you got a new issue lately? The last one I got was April (Cover says "Flames...Still Hot") & it seems like ages ago that it got here. I thought I'd have a new one by now, maybe its not far away though - just curious.

From Brisbane, a big NO!!!!!!! normally first week of the month. If you have a Borders book and music store ,they have theres.

OK couldn't remember when in the month they came, so it should rock up this week, all going well...

I havnt got mine yeyt and i reckon its about a month late. This has happened before but it always comes eventually.

I can go for months at a time and then "look-out" I've got three in two weeks,having said that I too am getting restless.

Thanks for the replies guys, good to know I'm not the only one. Its only a new subscription (2 issues old) so I'm still getting used to when to expect the mag, didn't know delivery would be so irregular!

mine turn up all over the place .....but always before the cover date :thumb

so I don't know whats going on this month..... mybe it cause of the vwtrends mag going and every one now geting hotvw and they can't keep up.....😠

Yesterday i got the June edition but have not recieved the MAy edition as yet...

Looks like another phone call to the subscription dept Buggar

I only got it last friday when I got VWMA at the newsagents. Seemed to be a long gap since the previous issue.

I have noticed over the years with O/S magazines that sometimes you get 2 issues very quickly in succession then a long wait. Maybe they have to wait for the container to fill up before it ships. Happens all the time with R/C mags from the states and Mini mags from the UK

Yeah I got mine today as well, sure enough its June. So May will probably rock up soon then nothing for ages again probably.

I usually leave it a few days.... I had to ring them a few times before ... and they say OK we will ship you another copy

I still havent seen May ed in the post even though its at the newsagents, emailed them a few days ago but no reply. Anyone know whats going on?

Yes my May turned up today( 14 .6.05) but now July is one week over due.Cross my fingers for this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

being a newsagent this is a common event with the
mag companies & overseas magazines not just cars
all mags are subject to cliches in the system & there
is a lot of cliches when it comes to overseas mags

Has anyone got there july issue Yet ! 3 weeks over due.Winerot its a bit weird that Borders book stores have theres and we don't .I would think that they would all come in together.

Sounds like the guys in the US are having the same trouble with late issues, there was a simliar post on the cal look forum recently. Even one of their writers spoke up to assure everyone Hot VW's was in no (financial) trouble whatsoever....according to him the August issue is being finalised now & he reckons it will be their best ever. Sounds promising.

After this experience of late issues finally turning up I have faith now, its just that the waiting sucks tho'. July should turn up soon.
