Anyone know about cockroaches?

I think I just got bitten by one!! Crawling around under my desk, how rude! He's dead now :P

dont think they bite,probably his legs have spiky bits on them🙁

Well it's still stnging 20 minutes later... if its a spiky bit, it must have got stuck!

no "how bizarre" we were watching the add for rove live there putting him into a container of cockies to get him over his fear tues night 9:30 and someone said to me did u now they can bite you and it stings

A: The cockroach is an omnivore, that is, it eats everything edible, animal and vegetable. So if we do not move around too much while sleeping they might be inclined to nibble on our earlobes at night. They are rarely aggressive enough to attack us while we are awake. When visiting Tulane University in New Orleans many years ago I slept in a dormitory room and cockroaches were flying down from the ceiling onto my head. I would guess that these large American cockroaches, _Periplaneta americana_, would be capable of taking a good bite out of me. Only the larger species could take a bite through our skin. Of course the skin of children is much more tender and vulnerable to a roach bite.

Wollongong cockraoch variety certainly dont bite. Theres plenty of them and I have never heard of a bite. Hmmm maybe ours are just well fed 🙂

Heard fables about them crawling in your ear at night, or eating your eyebrows, but pretty sure they are just stories you use to terrorise your little sister.

LMAO, I went to a cockroaches concert a few years ago, and every now and then they dropped a wiggles song in. They were the only ones that everyone knew the words to! Was very funny seeing drunk guys singing D-O-R-O-T-H-Y, and half of them doing the right dance moves.

The six legged cockraoches (anthony, murray and jeff having a threesome?) around here are mostly shiny black, but the odd brown one which tends to be smaller.

The ones in sydney dont get a chance either .... how could they after i have stepped on them hard... n there guts is all over the floor. :puke
