Have you become so much a part of the victim society that everything is a personal attack upon you?
No wonder there is so much bitchiness. Anyone who dares to contradict a popular delusion is attacked while their message is ignored. Rather than look into something and try to expand yourself you attack the messenger who may be either the bearer of great information or may be a straw-man encouraging you to exercise your mind and find something out through rational investigation rather than follow blindly what you are being told.
We are spending more time worrying about the perceived sensitivity of others rather than about actually participating in our hobby. People are not fragile, emotions and “feelings” are resilient and bounce back – understanding and cognitive capacity requires exercise and nurturing.
From the manufactured “global grieving” for the passing of anyone who has ever farted in public to the over-sensitive souls who spend more time getting their panties bunched over the offence that someone else might feel when a spade is called a spade to those desperate to be “accepted” we are forgetting where we are going. Criticism is not bad. Contradiction is not bad. Both are positive – they lead to progress and advancement.
When people stop wanting to be victims this place will get back on track.

Some people do get offended easily. Personally I don't care what you say to me, but it is not fair to rag on someones family, as the family are not there to defend themselves.
I actually find it amusing when someone tries to offend me, as it quite often lets me know how ignorant they are. That is then their problem, not mine.
By the way. I also warn you to lay off my cat as he knows what you are saying, and he WILL hunt you down. 🙂

Criticism is good as long as it is constructive. Although there should still be a common courtesy between us - especially on this board 😉

Yeah, i blame america for this kind of behaviour. The americanisation of Australia. (Now, im making lot of enemies here by bring that up, but thats my opinion and i know that many would disagree)
Thats like how in america, they many would sue if they were to trip on a footpath. They take that as an offense, and would winge about it, even though people should take it into their own hands to watch there step, its irresponsible. They want to look tough, to say "Hey, u try to trip me, well im getting u back!". They are so jumpy about what u do, or what u say, or even what ur footpath looks and is like, that they get affended. [Im not sure if u guys are seeing a similarity here] (Ever they try to look tough, or just want the money, i dunno. I could imagine them sueing for both reasons)
No, im not being descriminate, and now, im not saying ALL U.S. guys do that, but i know that that kind of bad habit is comin' to australia. Mainly through the media. I've done heaps of research on it in school and read alot of sources.
Now, im probably gonna get crap about this comment, so what i would like to say is that if u wanna critisise me, then don't. Just nicely say ur opinion not thru U2U, but on this post.

im not intentionally a cruel person. It is part of a salesman's job to provide the information that i require (that is, the customer). How can one buy a product without knowing a price? How is one to know what to save up for without a price target or range?
Its foolish to want to buy something without wondering what the hell u are gettin' for ur money.

ok, from now on, this is what i have leant.
1. Use search function
2. Check for previous posts of the same topic i am about to post, so there is no repeats
3. try to keep everything in the same post/reply to prevent spam. (The new advice by boersch.) Thats all u other guys had to say. I will still post and reply, but will attempt to follow these guidelines.

chris88, sometimes i could agree with you that aus is getting americanised, but only sometimes. othertimes ms word is trying to teach me to spell colour incorrectly, or i hear the term 'sports utility vehicle' applied to a 20yr old f-series, and i disaqree. and i will continue to disagree as long as the use of 'mate' continues to outnumber the use of 'dude'.
and another thing, you go into the outback and try telling them they are getting americanised and see what happens... :thumb.
