Hello I have read the FAQ about adding your pic but it has no attatchment area I still don't get how to put a pic up?
Any easy way to do this?

You need to go into the contro panel (upper right hand corner of page) edit your profile. There is a place for you to add the url of the image you want to use.

Will need to be 100 pixels or less wide.

Reply if you still need help or more detail.

Hi Emma, you need to host the picture somewhere on the web. The url is the address where the picture can be found. If you can't host it (store it) anywhere online, you could send the pic in an email to vanderaj and ask nicely if he will host it for you. Send him a u2u to find out his email address.

You can also use the AVD gallery (so i have heard) to host pictures

hello emma.

if u resize your picture using a program on your computer such as photoshop to 100*100 pixels or smaller. and then go to this website

you can host the image on the net using their server for free. it will supply you with a URL (the web address of your picture) which you then need to copy and paste into the box in your control panel settings.

if you have no way of resizing your image u can email it to me at

anthirongd@hotmail.com

and i can resize it and host it for you and then supply you with the URL.

O.K now i have gone to imageshack and now have the URL and the photo I ve gone into my profile and pasted it into the avatar section but nothing happens what am i doing wrong? HELP!!!!!!!!!!

O.K don't worry i can see my bug so somethings right but how do you get the pic under your name part?

You've got it in the signature section not the avatar one. Have another look and see if you can move it. Well done though!

copy and paste the same bit you put in the "signature" box and put it in yout "avatar" section 😉

I am missing something I copied the bit in the signature box into the box above it that said avatar and it still doesn't work is there something else I should be clicking on first

can you copy and paste what you are putting into both places for me?
and also, next to the box where you put your signature, it says something like HTML is on/off, BB Code is on/off.... can you tell me what that says too please?
