wasnt it a couple of months ago the moderators
cleaned up the members list because a lot have
moved on or what ever, it was nearing 3000 &
after clean up went back to 2000,if you look now
its 2626 at 8.45pm & at4.00pm this afternoon it
was 2616 thats ten nwe members in a bit over
4 hr's, at this rate it will be 3000 again in a couple
of mth's thats got to be some sort of record for a
vw site

have i stumbled onto ammo for the pro side in last weeks debate
about having to sign up to read the post that was being debated last week
at 4.00pm yesterday there was 2616 members & as of 8.56am this morning
there is 2634 members on the site, a silly post with no contents is now not
so silly with relevant contents, or am i standing in the rain saying what rain

well spotted mate, just goes to show how much traffic the site gets, MYOB = BAS, just done mine 'boggoling" still spinning haha.

The reason is pretty obvious. We shut the dorrs, if you recall, so you have to be a member to view it. Hence people wanting to view it, and membership going up. New members include old members, new members, old viewers, and anonymous buyers. Hopefully we are leaving out the people we don't want to deal with(therefore, don't put phone numbers in advertisements in classifieds, unless you are happy to deal with them). Maybe those rules need to be reassessed?
