Very do-able.. What a home away from home.. or a support vehicle, or a short haul freight vehicle.. Small V8 or V6.. I'm excited!

BTW, how's ya young fella goin with his guitar?

Seen a 5th wheel made from T3 Transporters... will see if I can find pic. A bay would look much better...

HotRodMatt ·

I reckon a bay version would be heaps more stylish...

yeh, chuck in a 2.5 tdi or whatever is in the new transporter.....

would haul ass, return awesome fuel economy and be one of the wildest things on the streets....

i drew up a similar thing on selecta (i think a lot of people have 😉 ) and reckon it'd be great, i'd build one if i even had a clue where to start:duh

If you construct properly, a small block v8 or a modern v6 would pull it.. Some of the 5th wheel trailers in the US are 7000lbs + and need a mack as a tractor unit.. My guess is if you kept the unit around 800-1200 kg, a v8 would be fine
